In an effort to improve understanding of the textile industry, PT XYZ welcomes industry visits from students, customers, business partners, and related institutions to get to know the yarn (spinning) production process more closely. Through this visit program, participants are invited to directly see how production capacity, modern technology, and quality control systems are applied at every stage of the manufacturing process.
The activity begins with a welcome session and a brief presentation about the company profile, history, production capacity, products, and the company's commitment to quality, occupational safety, and sustainability.
Visit Objectives
The factory visit program aims to:

- • Explain the quality standards applied at each production process.
- • Understand the occupational safety (K3) management system and factory operations.
- • Build closer relationships with customers, educational institutions, and industry partners.

During the factory tour, participants will be taken to visit several main production areas, including:

1. Raw Material Warehouse
Participants will see the receiving, inspection, and storage process of cotton as the main raw material before entering production.

2. Blow Room
The initial stage of cotton processing to open cotton bales, remove impurities, and blend fibers to achieve uniform quality.

3. Carding
The process of aligning fibers and separating fine impurities to produce a neater sliver as the basis for yarn formation.

4. Drawing
Several slivers are combined and drawn to improve uniformity, fiber alignment, and material quality before the next process.

5. Roving
The sliver is reduced in size and given a slight twist to produce roving as raw material for the spinning process.

6. Ring Spinning / Air Jet Spinning
Participants can see the yarn formation process using the spinning technology the company uses, from fiber drafting to yarn formation with certain specifications.

7. Winding
The yarn is transferred to the final cone, cleaned using a yarn clearer, and quality inspected before it is ready to be packed.

8. Quality Control Laboratory
The quality testing laboratory demonstrates various physical yarn tests, such as yarn count, strength, unevenness, hairiness, twist, and other quality parameters to ensure products meet international standards.

9. Packing & Finished Goods Warehouse
The final area shows the labeling, packaging, storage, and shipping preparation processes for products to customers.
Hands-on Learning Experience from the Industry
Through this visit, participants not only gain a theoretical understanding of the yarn spinning process, but can also see the implementation of automation technology, quality control systems, and operational practices applied in the modern textile industry.
